Privacy declaration

Important information regarding your personal data:

Drinkable Rivers websites (DrinkableRivers.org; DrinkbareRivieren.nl; DrinkbareIJssel.nl; MayorsforDrinkableRivers.org) and dataplatform (data.DrinkableRivers.org) saves your data. Your datais processed only when relevent. You have a right to access your data and can have your data deleted on request.

Drinkable Rivers dataplatform has been developed in collaboration with Nucleoo who also manages the platform (your can find their ToC here: Nucleoo Lecal ToC)

By contributing to Drinkable Rivers dataplatform, Drinkable Rivers collects and processes the following data from you: name and your email contact.

You can rest assured that your personal data will neither be used for commercial purposes nor disclosed to third parties. We take measures to ensure that your personal data is safely stored on protected and secure servers from both Drinkable Rivers as well as from Nucleoo.

Your personal data will be processed according to this Privacy Statement, in combination with the Privacy Statement of Nucleoo.

On our website and the dataplatform, your data will be kept for a maximum of one year after the last contact with you, unless otherwise indicated. We will collect the names of all our volunteer citizen scientists, that whenever we have or a researcher has used the river data that you have collected that we can source and honour all citizen scientists. If you wish to have your personal data deleted, receive a copy of the data you provided or exercise your rights of access, cancellation, rectification and opposition, please contact us.
